Anesthesia
Every surgical patient receives a tailored anesthetic protocol based on their species, breed, medical history, diagnostics, and planned procedure. We use advanced monitoring equipment throughout each procedure—including ECG, capnography, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry—to carefully track every patient’s status in real time. Licensed veterinary technicians remain with each patient from induction through recovery to help ensure a smooth and safe anesthetic experience.

Post-Operative Care
After surgery, patients are transferred to our quiet recovery area, where they are monitored closely by our inpatient care team. For procedures requiring hospitalization, we provide overnight care with a veterinarian and support staff onsite to manage pain, monitor recovery, and respond promptly to any concerns. Discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up plans are clearly communicated with pet owners and referring veterinarians to support a seamless transition home.
At HVS CT, surgical care doesn’t stop when the procedure ends—it continues through recovery, with thoughtful, compassionate attention every step of the way.
